Training season

   Posted by: Problogger   in Interviews

The training for the 2004-2008 batch is all set to start. Few companies have even started it now itself. Companies like Emphasis, Applied Materials, Infosys, Tech Mahindra have already started the training for the 2008 batch students. They are calling the recruited students in batches. So one batch will be followed by another batch. Infosys has also started calling the recruited students. The first batch was called in May I think and the next batch in June and so on. Emphasis called the first batch in June if I am not wrong. I got the information like this and so sharing it with you all.

CTS placement papers

   Posted by: Problogger   in Interviews

CTS used to have three rounds. First round used to be the usual aptitude written round followed by technical HR and then finally the General Hr. Now they have changed the format and are following Infosys’s pattern with only two rounds. The first round remains to be the usual written aptitude round where they divided the written round to three sections. Each section has its own cut off marks. Both lower and upper cut off are followed and you have to keep your marks well in between these upper and lower cut off region (I got this information from my friends). If you exceed the upper cut off or secure below the lower cut off then you are out and can’t qualify. Make sure that you get marks in between the upper and lower cut off in all the three section. The next round is HR round and they can ask either general questions or technical questions or both. It depends on the HR person who is interviewing you. Relax while answering them and you will make it to CTS. I am giving few links to CTS aptitude papers, questions asked in interview and the format provided by others. Hope you all find it useful.

Resume Examples

   Posted by: Problogger   in Interviews

Here is a resume example. It might come in handy for preparing a resume of your own. Just try to build a resume which will resemble the one given below and then ask someone else to go through your resume and tell him whether the resume is good or has any mistakes. Once you create a resume it is always better to give it to someone for checking. Those who have good experience in the resume (I mean who are already working in a good position in some well known company) can check your resume and help you to improve your own resume.

The one given below is just a sample resume. Go through the resume sample to get some idea.
